Barbara Mazzei joined the Hilltop Christian Early Learning Center team in May 2021 as Director/Head Teacher. She holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bay Path University, Longmeadow MA. She has held a Head Teacher certificate through the Office of Early Childhood since 2002. Barbara has worked in Early Childhood Education for 30 years. Mrs. Mazzei is Hilltop’s Music Together specialist, leading Music Together classes for all Hilltop children.
Nicole Sears joined the Hilltop staff in 2009. Mrs. Sears is the Co-Teacher in the MWF four year old class and the T/Th preschool class. She holds an A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Head Teacher certificate through the State of Connecticut.
Monica Valente holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education and has been a preschool teacher for about 40 years in PA, MD, GA, CT and West Germany. Mrs. Valente joined the Hilltop family in 2015 and is the Lead Teacher in the MWF 4 year old class and the T/Th Preschool class.
Christina Brzoska started at Hilltop in November of 2017. She is current a teacher in the 2 year old and 3 year old classes. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree from UCONN with a concentration in Human Services. Christina recently completed the process to obtain her Early Childhood Teaching Credential through the State of Connecticut. She has many years of experience working with children from toddlers through school age.
